Many women who have been sexually exploited in Central Ohio have lost all hope that they can ever truly be free of their controllers, free of the addiction that dictates their thoughts and actions, and free of the weight of the shame that they carry daily. These women often don't even know what that look type of freedom would like, so it's up to us to ENVISION that for them and then to fight for it.
Out of Darkness has been on a journey to open Columbus' first fully staffed safe house for adult female victims of commercial sexual exploitation. This is our last leg of fundraising to prepare a solid financial foundation for the house once it opens!
