Parsons Avenue has been identified as one of 4 main areas of the city where street prostitution is occurring in Columbus. These are women forced into sexual exploitation by the control of others both mentally and physically, their addiction, or for survival. As Out of Darkness reaches these women in outreach, we see them every week, shells of their former selves, mothers, daughters, sisters, lost, scared, and hopeless.

So this is what we are doing. We recently opened a drop-in house right in the heart of it, where women from the community can come and dream again and know their value through the love and hope of Christ.
